Hanging Cat Instructions
Sand the wood on both sides. Cover the wood on one side with clear packaging tape.
Print two copies of the pattern. After making a copy, cut around the outside edge of the pattern, leaving a 1/4" to 1/2" of paper around the pattern lines.
Attach the pattern to the packaging tape with spray adhesive. Saw cat pattern, arms and legs patterns with a #9 saw blade. Remove pattern and packing tape. Sand.
Paint: Base coat the body, then using the 2nd pattern and carbon paper, trace the face onto the wood and paint. Paint the arms and legs.
Drill a 1/16" hole in the end of each arm and leg. Then drill a matching hole in the cat's body where the arms and legs will join the body. If the cat will hang, also drill a hole at the top of his head.
Thread wire through holes and using needle nose pliers, twist ends of wire in a circle.
