Free bird house plans

3/4" x 4 1/2" x 12" wood for two tapered ends
3/4" x 3" x 4 3/4" wood for two sides
3/4" x 4 1/2" x 9" wood for base
3/4" x 1" x 4 1/2" wood for two columns
Metal 5" x 20" for roof
1 1/2" finish nails
1 1/4" drywall screws
Wire for hanging
Red Paint

Tools--

Saw

1 1/2" drill bit or hole saw
3/16 drill bit

Instructions--

Saw out tapered ends. Use pattern for tapered portion of ends. The straight portion on ends are 5" long.

Saw out two sides and base, assemble ends, sides and base using 1 1/2" finish nails.

Attach two columns to base using one screw through base for each column. Paint wood with red paint.

Bend metal roof over tapered ends and to columns. Drill 3/16" holes in metal in line with wood ends and top of columns. Install 6 to 10 wood screws depending upon contour of metal. Install hanging wire diagonally to roof screws.
