McTweet Cafe Bird Feeder

This bird feeder features a top that slides up a cord, allowing you to easily remove the seed bottle. Seed bottle is a water bottle.

Supplies

Saw
Hammer and 1 1/4" finish nails
Water bottle, to hold seeds
Drill with 1 1/2" holesaw and 1/4" drill bit
24" Nylon cord or plastic clothesline
1/2" Plywood or other wood
1/2" wood, in sizes shown

Per drawing (drawings may need to be enlarged). Drill holes in wood prior to assembly.


Assembly Instructions

1. Nail 2 sides to middle of bottom 2 1/4" from each end.
2. Nail 2 top ends with 1/4" holes to sides per picture.
3. Nail 4 side spacers to bottom.
4. Nail 2 bottom ends to bottom.
5. Nail bottle holder to 2 sides 2" from bottom.
6. Install cord through 2 holes in top and top ends.Tie a knot in each end of cord. Top will slide up on cord to facilitate removing seed bottle.
